This is the premier American Welding Society Certification. The 6G Pipe weld certification will allow the welder on any jobsite to weld any position on any structural steel member in the SMAW process. A welder who has this certification is in very high demand nationwide. The course includes full instruction in the SMAW process using ER6010 and ER7018 electrodes. The course is designed to be primarily hands-on over the shoulder instruction with AWS specs begin the focal point. Students will learn to read Structural blue prints, Weld symbols, and fabrication techniques. |
