PRECISION METALWORKING LEVEL II CERTIFICATE #7440

Description:  
This program is certified through Vincennes University and is 120 hours long. Upon completion, the student will earn 8 Vincennes University credits, and a certification. This is an advanced metalworking course that will teach the students how to master the art of metalworking with a manual Mill and Lathe. All aspects of metrology, geometric dimensioning, tolerancing and advanced math are covered. This class is 75% hands-on, machine operation based and 25% bookwork.
The student will master all of the skills necessary to hit the job running in any manual machine shop. Each skill taught will be reinforced with a hands-on project based lab. All labs must be completed and the final project within tolerances before the student will be awarded his certificate. All assessment is performance based, and the student is must be able to complete the work up to industry standards.
